Baguio City


Welcome to the summer capital of the Philippines – Baguio . Never forget the “8th Wonders of the Word”, the Banaue Rice Terraces which is inscribed in the World Heritage List. The terraces were built by the Ifugao tribe using their bare hands. Baguio City ’s leading park is Burnham Park offers guest with man-made stream for boat rides, skating areas, playground for children, Igorot garden, garden of flowers and orchidarium. Botanical Garden, gives a site of native Igorot or indigenous people huts. Inside the garden is a display of artworks and some souvenir items. Smell the pines? That means you are near Wright Park. This was build for American soldiers and civilians as their leisure area. Inside the grounds is a narrow rectangular artificial pond of water. Mansion House the official summer residence of the Philippine president. For other leisure pursuits in Baguio visit Baguio Cathedral, Camp John Hay, Mines View Park, Lourdes Grotto, and Bell church. hi there, i liked Baguio when my family and I visited the place but i think the sad part is they don't take thier time to enliven the place from time to time. Do a little upgrades and all that but the nature is fantastic and appreciated.
