Dumaguete City, the largest city of Negros Oriental. Commonly know as The City of Gentle People. The city is famous for their dolphins and whale sanctuary. You can find in Dumaguete City the oldest American University in Asia which is Silliman University . One of the historic landmarks is Dumaguete Belfry (before its belltower serves as a watchtower for any surprise attacks of bandits), Fleur-de-lis Hall (it is a home of theater productions), Aquino Freedom Park .
