Ilo-Ilo
Ilo-Ilo Interesting places to visit while you’re in Ilo-Ilo are: Museo Iloilo (where remarkable compilation of it’s cultural heritage like old pottery, war relics, sculptures and a lot more, Janiuay Cemetery (Spanish-Filipino cemetery made from stone and relic rocks with three stairways and two door which is Gothic), Sicogon Island, Panay Liberation Market, Jaro Cathedral (has an architectural style similar of that of the Aztecs. It is included in the UNESCO World Heritage list). It’s famous for its Dinagyang Festival (colorful procession/parade in honor of the Holy Child Jesus), Paraw (sailboat) Regatta (race of colorful boat in the straits between Iloilo City and Guimaras Island ).
