This city is part of Northern Mindanao , when it comes to tourist destination; Cagayan de Oro has a lot of tourist spot, like in Water Rafting. The city boasts a reputation for excellent whitewater rafting and river trekking. Be bold and try a run on the river’s class IV rapids just outside the city. The exhilating course has been shortlisted as the venue for the 2007 world whitewater rafting competition. Another tourist spot is Canopy walk in Claveria town is for the brave-at-heart. It includes a climb up Mount Magbais , speeding down a zip line and traversing five hanging bridges suspended 36 mts above the ground. So let us enjoy the beauty of the city.
