If you want to see the influence of the Spaniards in the Philippines, you may as well go to Intramuros in Manila, Philippines. Touring the landmark will enable us to understand how rich the heritage of Manila is. Within the walls of Intramuros are national treasures like the Fort Santiago which was once a prison for revolutionary Filipinos but now a park with a museum, San Agustin Church, the oldest structure in the country with its Baroque interior and murals, Manila Cathedral, an architectural feat with stone carvings and tainted glass mosaics, Casa Manila a former colonial house and the school of San Juan de Letran. Intramuros had been restored for the tourist to see.
